Young, Famous & African, Netflix‘s first original African reality show, has premiered. The series follows the lives of some of Africa’s biggest celebrities. The show is based in Johannesburg, despite the fact that its stars hail from all around Africa.
From South Africa, Tanzania, Uganda to Nigeria, the wealthy people we meet over the duration of the seven-episode reality series come from Africa, and while their backgrounds differ, they all have one thing in common: money.
This reality show follows a group of well-known, wealthy celebrities as they work, flirt, play, and feud in Johannesburg, South Africa.

The all-African reality show features power couple 2Baba and Annie Macaulay-Idibia, celebrity stylist Swanky Jerry, actor Khanyi Mbau, singer Diamond Platnumz, rapper Nadia Nakai, entrepreneur Zari ‘The Bosslady’ Hassan, journalist, and TV producer Andile Ncube, and radio jockey Naked DJ.
